Veterans at The Angle ca. 1900

I found no caption for this image, but it appears to me to be three veterans looking out across the field of Pickett's Charge from the Angle. Possibly taken ca. 1900, you can see the break in the woods along Seminary Ridge before the Virginia Monument was located there in 1917. Notice the cool haystack (hayrick) in the field next to the Emmitsburg Road. I will include a similar modern view I happened to take during my last visit last fall.

Very cool, GG. I wonder if the trees in the two pictures are the same tree.
