Upcoming Reenactments

I love attending reenactments especially since I get to participate now in the event. sadly I haven't been able to find any events close to where I live for June, July or August. September is full with the Battle of Tunnel Hill, Battle of Hurricane Shoals and another one in Lancaster South Carolina. I was wondering what events everyone is participating in close to where they live? I am hoping 2022 a lot of the reenactments return.

I hope next year will be busier too. I'm doing a small event in New England this weekend but it's a pretty slim schedule in the Northeast this summer. Thankful for the Lady Farm events in Gettysburg. Things look much better in the fall.

I am not a reenactor but I will be attending the Port Hudson reenactment in November. It is usually in March or April. It was cancelled last year and postponed this year. I haven't been to it since 2017.

Was it the event in Abington, Massachusetts? That's only a few towns over from me and I had planned to run over there but my son was ill that weekend.

Yes it was. Small but nice event, nice location, had a nice crowd of spectators which was nice to see.

Someone please tell me that Cedar Creek will still be going on?? I'm in NY and they cancelled all of them...I'm beyond sad. I like to hang out with my Confederate boys and drink Rum & Coke after the battle.

It is on, I'm planning on being there. We have a few events scheduled late summer and fall in New England if you feel like taking a ride over.

As soon as details are out I'll pass it along if your interested. I hope there are more reenactments in 2022 as well. Anyone know where I can get a list of reenactments in Mississippi?
