Underground Railroad Statue

Anyone who visits Detroit should try to stop by and see the Underground Railroad Statue. This was erected to honor the brave men and women who assisted the slave to gain freedom. Once the poor slaves reached Detroit they could "shake the lion's paw" with but a short boat ride.
