Your title reminds me of a sermon I once heard titled "The Buts in our Life". He began by telling the congregation there are three certain concrete facts regarding "the buts"; however he meant the other way to spell "buts" (like you did). They are:

Everyone has one.
No two are alike.
And - we can see everyone's but our own.

It was an interesting sermon and actually one I've not forgotten!
