I am looking to update the below data base do you have any adds?

Besides the normal trousers for foot troops and the reinforced trousers of mounted troops civil War solders wore some other styles of trousers. These trousers are sometimes referred to as stove pipe trousers due to their strait legs
Types of pockets on trousers:

1. Regulation single/straight top entry pocket

2. Mule ear, triangular flaps with a button

3. Dog ear, like mule ear but the pocket is rounded and no button

4. French pocket. Like dog ear

5. Side seam pocket a.k.a. welt pocket or side slit pocket

6. Front pockets slit pockets parallel to the waist band

7. Watch pocket a small pocket cut into the waist band for a watch

1. Zouave trousers; were very full and pleated at the waist. Some were somewhat less full.

2. Chasseur pattern trousers; these were tight at the ankle but full over the hips. These were less full than the normal Zouave trousers. The waist was pleated. These usually had seam pockets. There was one exposed waist button and two suspender buttons on each side and in the back.. There was usually an adjustment strap at the back. These were often worn by Zouave units, instead of true Zouave trousers.

3. French peg tops; which were worn by some officers. These were tight at the waist and ankles and wide at the area in between. French peg tops often worn by officers of Zouave units.

4. Broad fall trousers, trousers with a very wide drop fly like naval trousers.
