2. A) He was the only cadet nominated for appointment to the academy by Illinois Congressman Abraham Lincoln
B) He graduated last in his class (1852)

Those are the distinctions I was looking for. Tho the question suggested distinctions as a cadet, it did not specifically state that, so I'll accept the terrific set of distinctive facts about Garber which sockknitter brought to our attention. I cannot accept having a unique name as meriting distinction; in Garber's class there were a half dozen graduates having unique first names (Newton, Milo, and Sylvester among them).

Thanks for playing. See you next week!

I don't understand it. I did re-check cause I was surprised there was nothing received from you this week.

Now the same thing happened to sockknitter last week, so it now appears not be be just a fluke.

I'll notify Mike. We can't have this happening.

Upon review of my records, the regular player with the highest score in Game #59 who has not yet been awarded a prize in the current cycle is: Hoosier.

I will PM Hoosier shortly with the updated "Fabulous Prizes" list.

A new prize cycle will commence with Game #60.
