A good friend of mine had recently ask about a book by Hugh Pendley " The Jordan Gang". Being from North Georgia, it grabbed my attention.
This book talks about a " Home Guard" that was made up of mostly outlaws and criminals that went around terrorizing folks, especially Union supporters from the area. Benjamin Jordan was the so called captain of the group.
Since reading this book I've did some investigating on these events and haven't really found much out there about what went on except for local county records, which is very limited.
Has anyone else read this book or know much about these events that took place?
