The Gettysburg Story

I was listening to old podcasts of CivilWarTalk radio, and they interviewed Jake Borritt that produced and directed this documentary on the battle.

Has anyone seen this? The reviews are very good of it and there was a lot of discussion about how different the battle was presented.

I caught the documentary on PBS awhile ago and I really liked it. I thought the views captured by the drone technology were amazing and gave a fresh perspective to the battle. Stephan Lang also did a great job with the narration. It's also a nice visual fix when you can't get to the battlefield as often as you would like!

That was a good documentary, using the drone gave it a new perspective.i would watch it again for sure.

Last year Jake Borritt also released an expanded edition, which I haven't seen yet. But my husband and I were very impressed with the original one-hour Gettysburg Story. Here are a couple of threads with commentary by several CWT members who have also watched it:
