Made this small 1/20th scale Bust a few years ago. I built it so that when viewed from the front it looks like he's holding the rifle, however as you can see from the bottom 2 pictures only the hand is attached to the rifle.
I painted it using Acrylic paints.

Your work is exquisite! Were you an artist before you retired? How did you find your talent?

Many thanks, from being young I always enjoyed drawing/doodling etc. but it wasn't until around 2002 that I started sculpting using clay . I started off doing historical/ military figures but more recently I have tended to concentrate on doing Flat figures . When I say flat I mean the back is flat (so that it can be glued into a picture frame) with the front detail work approx 3mm thick.
