Captain Edwin Terrell was recruited by General John Palmer, to capture or kill my g-g grand uncle, William Quantrill, amongst others.
Unfortunately, for my family; Terrell's men, indeed, mortally wounded WCQ, near Taylorsville, Kentucky, on May 10th, 1865.
I have a very rare photo of Edwin Terrell; which I obtained, as a result of my fictional Border Wars novel, 'Partners in Time' (available on Amazon.)
I thought you may like to see this pic. The quality isn't great, but I have only ever seen one other picture of Captain Terrell.

I am preparing a book on Guerrilla Warfare in Civil War and would love to use the photo of Captain Terrell. Where did you find it? Is it public domain? Where to get permission? PS I know this is a very old post. I looked for your book on Amazon and could not find it. Thanks Tom Drennen
