I am doing a singing gig at Mesopotamia, Ohio in April. So I decided that It might not be a bad idea to make a warmer dress. So, I went out and bought some really lovely plaid flannel. (Red and cream with a thread of olive green, a smaller check pattern)...and I have a pattern that I bought a while ago for a tea bodice.

The only problem I have is..would there be a specific event you'd wear this to? Or a time of day?? If this turns out well, I have a lovely gray/white/yellow large check that I would use the same pattern for.

Thanks for your help!

I believe a tea bodice would be suitable for either morning or evening. Whether afternoon tea, church or morning visits, you would be suitably dressed. Please show a picture when finished. I'd love to see it.🙂
