Taylor wrote two books that I know of. The first book is entitled "Four Years with General Lee". I have not read this book, but it supposedly contains very good information pertaining to the effective strength of Lee's army from June 1, 1862 onward. His second book is entitled "General Lee: His Campaigns in Virginia, 1861 - 1865" and was published around 1906. I have not read either book, but would be interested in any comments from those of you who may have read either book.

The first book is definitely worth reading.

Both books are available for free on archive.org (e.g. here and here).
