Taking requests on colorization

Fighting Joe and ole T. R.

Brilliant picture.

If he doesn't get back and you want to do it (PLEEEEEZZZEEEE?) just google "Leonard Wood, T. Roosevelt and Joe Wheeler"....I don't have my glasses on and I can't tell which is the best.
Gonna need to take a raincheck on that, my motherboard died on me yesterday so I'm on a computer without Photoshop and nothing of the sorts that I usually use.

Hello again Mr. Zuzah. . .I thank you for your e mail as too my video "A War Of Color," I believe you to be one of the greatest if not the greatest "photo colorists," on the planet. Again I respectfully request to use some of your art in the
the civil war documentary and give you full credit to you and your company. I have some great requests for you and
will gladly pay you what I can. I believe the documentary to be one of the best ever made with your help.

Peace and Blessings. . .Jullian

I am just an average kid doing a hobby, but I do appreciate the kind words, make no mistake. I'd be happy to lend whatever you might possibly need to finish/do your documentary, I don't work for anyone or have anyone employed, I freelance as a hobby. My Skype is Minimoses, and I have 2 e-mails ([email protected]/[email protected]) that you can catch me on, and you can always find me here. I'd love to be able to help in any way I can.

Hello Sergeant I know you've already expertly colored Gen. Rawlings and family. . .Hoping you could get this close up of him done at your convenience. I believe there are two frames involved in this GIF. It easily separates in Photoshop CS 6 extended, (which can be downloaded for a thirty day free trial if you don't already have it) all layers can be colored simultaneously by only coloring one). I will make him blink and add some falling leaves or a moving sky behind him
(unless you already know how that would be great as well), it all will be added to his story and the documentary.

Thankyou sir

By the way, let me know which one of my colorings you'll be using. I'm re-doing them all and they look a LOT better than the ones I've done so far, so please let me know and I'll update them with my new technique.

Just stop the %$$^&* wiggling -- that is so annoying!:unsure::nah disagree:
Don't mind me. Your colorizations are great:bounce: . I'm just being a grump!

Hilaritas!

Lol, if it wasn't a request I hadn't thought of doing them. I might do them now, it looks pretty cool. Thanks man.

Another great one Zuzah....Fine works....
Appreciate it buddy.
I thought at first that they all had extra feet -- but it's just the stands behind them that make sure they hold the exact position during exposure. I've never noticed them in any period photos before. What are those called, anyway?

Cheers!

jno
I think it's called a Brady Stand, http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikiped...ble_brady_stand_cast_iron_portrait_photos.jpg

One of my faves please colorize.
5 scouts of the 8th Texas Cavalry Regiment, known as Terry's Texas Rangers after its organizer and first commander, Colonel Benjamin Franklin Terry, who was killed in their first battle, Woodsonville, Kentucky, on December 17, 1861. Wartime photo of men from Company C.
From left to right are believed to be Peter L. Kendall, unknown, Felix Grundy Kennedy, William A. Lynch, Unknown.
The unknowns have been variously identified as Dick Oliver, Tom Burney, W. Wood, or George W. Archer.
Original with the Panhandle-Plains Historical Society.
5 different hats. Two frock coats, both different (1 & 4), three different sack coats, different footgear.
