Sydney Ohio reenactment.

September 17 to 18. We'll roll on in the Friday before. Taking a half day..It's three hours away. We will be with the 1st Ohio Light Artillary, Battery A…in other words the State House guns..We do fire those when we are in Columbus, but the paper work to take them off site is..um..formidible? So we use the guns that members own.

It will be my son's Birthday Weekend. So I need to plan a cake, I think. I will be cooking Sunday breakfast. I'm excited and a wee bit scared. These folks eat like they have never been fed..

Oh I will be taking pics..cooking…dress…etc…I am really excited, as this is a new venue for us.

I am planning to be there too, but in my case its only a few miles away. Many thanks for your service in feeding the troops! I understand that Phil Spaugy (member of the advisory board of Civil War Times magazine) will be one of those giving a lecture on Saturday morning.
