Just a warning I will be attending the Company of Military Historians annual convention next weekend and will probably have some sword questions when I return; better bone up on Civil War swords . Two of the seminars are; Gerald Roxbury "Confederate Navy Edged Weapons of the Civil War"; and John H. Thillmann "The Golden Age of American Sword (1832-1865)"

FWIW, it would make sense to me to gather questions here to ask of the 2 of them, rather than the other way around. Those will be great seminars!
