Bread and Celery Stuffing

Three and one half cups baker's stale bread crumbs, one cup of boiling water, one tablespoon of poultry seasoning, one and one half teaspoons of salt, one fourth teaspoon of pepper, three fourths cup of finely cut celery, and one half cup of melted butter. Pour water over bread and let stand 20 minutes, then squeeze out all the water that is possible. Add remaining ingredients and mix thoroughly.
