Splendid Apple Pudding
One cup of flour
Salt spoonful of salt
rounded teaspoonful of baking powder
mix together and rub in a rounded teaspoonful of butter. Beat one small egg, and mix with a scant half cup of sweet milk and stir into dry mixture. Pour into pan, Pare Core and cut into eights , two sour apples and press into dough. Sprinkle a tablespoon of sugar over the top and bake, Plain sauce Orange extract from vanilla
