The board is getting so top-heavy in campfire-chat threads that it's losing credibility as a CW board. So much so that google is losing interest.

It would be helpful if each of us would open at least one thread in any of the CW-related forums. Anything at all would be appreciated.

I'm trying to think of an interesting topic that hasn't been done, and am not coming up with any good ideas... trying, though.

I think it was Thomas or Rosecrans that wanted Buford. Sherman seems to have had a low appreciation for cavalry.

Oh look....THAT GUY even made it to this thread! What about a Yellow Tavern thread? I don't remember us having that one recently....except for discussing the LeMat or lack of it that day. Or Brandy Station? Some good Stuart-filled thread if we can't have a THAT GUY discussion

I seriously think a Stuart 1861-1864 thread would be pretty cool. Stuart did a lot of stuff that has to be capable of filling up a thread. We could begin with him after Bull Run when he's made head of cavalry and go from there.

1SGDan did post a Yellow Tavern thread, but it was more about the Union cavalry than the Confederate cavalry.
