Some time in the coming months,

Well, the much vaunted and desperatly waited for moment came....... and fizzled. Not only was the powder for the guns not allocated, but we found some serious issues with the Casemate carriage. It was built wrong! the tolerances between the tongue of the chassis and the forward transom of the carriage were so tight, that wood was touching wood, and of course, with 7K+ of metal bearing down, the old girl wouldnt budge.....NPS is not happy, and the builder is being called down to resolve the issue.

Just as well the powder wasn't forthcoming, then........seriously, good thing your group are suffciently knowledgeable to catch the flaws. I'll look forward to them getting this all worked out!
