saw one of our members had an issue with the fact that there was no edit button for trivia and he had to make numerous posts for the same question (or in some cases bonus questions). This makes it harder for @hoosier to get the right answers tabulated with answers all over the place!

Here is the solution I have been using and that I gave him:

Rather then having numerous answers all over the trivia thread due to the edit button not being there, here is a solution. I have been doing this for a long time. I type in my answers in the box and don't post it yet. And whenever you go back to it they are still there. Then when I have gotten all the answers to my satisfaction (especially in a multiple question) I hit the post button.

And even then you can change your answers by copying the answers you have posted, deleting your post and then pasting the answers in a new post. Bingo, problem solved. As long as this is done before the thread is locked you are safe. :nerd:"

Yep, and to make sure that your post is safe until you post it, you can use the little disc symbol and say "Save Draft". But never forget to "Post Reply"! I have lost points because I knew I replied, but wanted to double check before hitting "Post reply", then forgot.

And then, sometimes you are pretty sure you got it right and post your reply, then the next day you suddenly know you were wrong and want to change it. No chance. You can only apologize and post once more. Not that it happens very often, but it does happen.

Maybe if we knew why the "edit" button is gone, we would more easily accept it!
