It's a somewhat odd case that I will explain when when I get home tonight

Many times the county history has been written by a local prominent figure in the early 1700's, 1800's or later. These can be a terribly confusing read, and sometimes quite boring. Mostly it will come alphabetically in a volume so it is not to difficult to search. It will include the founders, and the arrivals as the county grew, and the contributions each individual made, as well as personal data..

Thanks Lunliner. I did run across an old document once and spent several weeks trying to make sense and of one statement. I finally realized it was poorly worded and when viewed in a different context, it made perfect sense.
