Thanks for the plug, Colby! Everyone is welcome to join us, so I hope to see some of you there. If you can't make it though, a spring excursion is highly recommended. Shiloh is a hauntingly beautiful park anytime of year, but it's especially gorgeous in the spring.

If you could catch it just at the right time the Peach Orchard is in bloom, like it was during the battle...

I love the Shiloh hikes, probably my favorite battle to learn about. I went on my first anniversary hike last April and loved it. I really wish I could make it to the November hike, but our second is due at about the same time so I won't be attending! The videos of the hikes are on YouTube though, and I think I have watched some of them multiple times. Maybe next year I can make it!
