I took this in 2012 before the first "Epic Hike" with Tim Smith. I've tried to take it again with my newer and bigger sensor camera but the foliage has not been on my side. Maybe this November will be better.

The best time for Shiloh, IMO, is around the anniversary of the battle. All those giant dogwoods are in bloom.
