Shenandoah Valley in March

Need advice please. I was planning on spinning at least half if not all of my March trip coming up on Shenandoah battlefields. It appears some of these (Kernstown, First Winchester, and Cedar Creek) are closed until May. Can you go on the self guided driving tours at the present time or are those off limits also? If all this is off limits I will either be spending all my time on a Petersburg/Richmond trip or making a return to Shiloh/Vicksburg. First day at the battlefields is the 16th of March so any help will be appreciated. I will be calling New Market also (I believe if I remember correctly that is who you are routed too this time of year). Thanks in adavance.

Sorry, this is late but part of the Kernstown Battlefield is closed off until May, but you can still see the part of the battlefield that contained the heaviest fighting. First Winchester would be pretty easy as there isn't much of a battlefield to speak and most of the points of interest are on public property. Not sure about Cedar Creek, but most national parks are open year-round, between sunup and sundown.
