This one was in a glass case with a lot of other items. I did not get a good photo of it.

Mine doesn't have a sabot either. The one in the case need a closer look but IMHO is looks post war.

Just reading up on the inventor of the Broun Shell (Dr William Leroy Broun), here's an interesting fact, George E Pickett and Dr Broun were both descendants of William Pickett.
