Sheet Brass buckle I dug

I dug what looks to be a sheet brass confederate buckle in a yard with many other civil war relics. Do y'all think it's a plate? I dug 3 ringers right by it and I don't know what else it could be

All sheet brass clip corner buckles had clip corners and did not have the pointed corners for obvious reasons. What does the back with the belt attachments look like.

I believe this is the back as I can make out some solder. I didn't know that they only had ones with clipped corners, I have seen some without them. One of the corners is broke but the corners aren't clipped
