Confederate: Taylor J. Hamilton
Union: Jacob T. Hamilton

Guess what the middle names were.

Since I'm the youngest of identical twins (as well as James), I will see if the "protective older brother" idea that has been floating around in my head comes to fruition.

My 1st Texas 1st Sgt is anIrish immigrant, long story, won't go into it here but pretty much a veteran. Left U.S. Dragoon service at the outbreak of the war, blah blah blah
My CSMC was a USMC at the outbreak of the war and left for Confederate service, blah blah blah...
8th Texas, same as 1st Texas just a few tweeks in bio. I'm 80% done with my 2nd guncles unit. I don't want to do it as him, because there's not that much known about him,...yet...fingers crossed...so it's all 'ficticious' based on actual events. Like the capture at Arkansas Post, being paroled and then as a unit sent to Cleburne's command in TN, being wounded at Murfeesboro...etc.
