Searching for two QM serving with Union

Here is a little weekend project for someone.

I'm continuing to review and analyze the statistics for my roster on Union troops at the Battle of Fort Pillow. Most of them were either in the Tennessee cavalry or the USCT which have been scanned into Fold3. A few other soldiers were assigned to the garrison but not a part of those units.
I would like to know what happened to these two soldiers serving in the QuarterMaster corps.

P. H. McBride , 1Lt . . . . . QM
M. H. Blanton , Private . . . . . QM

Both names appear on a list of Prisoners captured on 12 April 1864 at Fort Pillow, TN. They are listed as being in the QM with note (Johnson's Escort Company).
Most of these Prisoners were sent to Andersonville and a high percentage died there. I checked NPS database and did not find any Blanton. There were two P. McBride; one captured at Guntown and one has little info. And neither McBride were officers.

I have no clue where they were from or if they had prior service in another regiment. That would be interesting to know, however, I would just like to (a) confirm who they were and that they were captured then and (b) if they survived their ordeal.

Well, okay. How about these two soldiers. Neither one appears in the NPS records for Andersonville Prison.

Andrew M. Baker of Co. G, 52 Indiana Regiment
He was captured at Battle of Fort Pillow. I can only find reference to him on Pension records and NPS site.
I found a scan of a roster on-line that lists him in this unit. It gave his enlistment as Oct 1863 with this comment: "Deserted from hospital".
Also note that other members have comments that say they died at Fort Pillow. This is due to the fact that the 52 Indiana Regiment was garrisoned there for months and was one of the last Union regiment to leave before the 1864 battle.
Would like to know What hospital and When he deserted, or basically: When did he reappear on the unit or hospital rolls?

NPS lists him as a member of 2 Illinois Cavalry.
I looked through on-line rosters for Illinois troops. I checked the 2 Illinois Cavalry and 2nd Illinois Cavalry(re-organized). I also found a roster for 2 Illinois Cavalry - 41 Illinois Regiment. I looked in more than one company, too.
Again; Did he survive being a prisoner and return to his unit?

Pension info for Andrew M. Baker. One would think they wouldn't have even applied if he had deserted ??? Couldn't find the other man anywhere. Bet there's another spelling of the name ???

His Father (Marmaduke Baker) applied for a pension on 11/12/1876

Interesting discovery. I found a genealogy forum post by Andrew Ward dated 2004 with an inquiry for info and photos of the Bradford brothers who fought at Fort Pillow.
