Rosser's raid Letter

Michael Musick's history of the 6th Virginia Cavalry includes the mention of a letter written by George Washington Estes Row in January 1865. In his letter, George refers to General Rosser's raid on the Union encampment in Beverly, West Virginia. Despite inferior numbers and intense suffering from the cold by his men, Rosser's daring raid netted hundreds of prisoners and much needed supplies:
