Romano Tarpley?

Recently became interested in the Confederate Tarpley:

Does anyone own one of these rifles and if so, how does it shoot? Romano makes Spencers that are well thought of. Should I get one of these Tarpleys?

If you can comfortably afford 8K for a reproduction gun, have at it with the understanding it will never be worth what you are paying for if you ever want to sell it in the future.
