Hello I live in the UK and am eagerly looking for a Replica Adams Revolver, I hoping someone on this forum could point me in the right direction?

There was some talk of a reproduction Adams being made in Germany, I believe it was. That was about 12 or 15 years ago and I don't think anything came of it. The same thing happened a few years back when a company here in the US advertised that they were set to manufacture new Merwin & Hulberts; again nothing happened - although I think they were taking orders and accepting deposits.

Andreas Baumkircher...Austrian gunmaker, I think. They had plans to do a custom Beaumont-Adams back as far as 1998. I think if you wanted an Adams reproduction you would have to go the custom route. Probably about 2500 euros if you could even get somebody to make one for you and wait for years. Or go with an original in shooting condition for about the same price. I think I'd go for the original at about the same price.

well the fellow im in contact with in brazil is selling them for £40 sterling or equivalent to around $75

Yes, that doesn't sound quite right. It sounds like a non-firing "replica." This brings up an interesting point, the difference in the terms "replica" and "reproduction." Not to hi-jack the thread, but these similar sounding words mean very different things where firearms are concerned.

Hi, did you get your Adams from Brazil? Was it any good? Do you have a contact as I would like one.
