Remington revolvers

I would like to learn more about all aspects of the New Model Remingtons, Army and Navy models. What differences were there (besides the caliber) from the army and navy models - where were they used - how many made - all the details!
Does anyone know of any good reference books on this?

I ordered both of those books from a local actual old time book store. Not a chain type either, an independently owned store! Did my heart good. Should be here in a few days.
