Reenacting symbolism?

In another thread was polling data on racial/monuments/symbolism,ect.

In the poll they asked the questions apparently do you view reenacting as representing racism or southern pride, and have reenacting categorized with Confederate symbols.

I found it odd as reenacting is reenacting US history, would think it would represent simply US pride.

So am curious how many reenacting view the hobby as being a Confederate symbol, or representing racism or southern pride?

Edit added- if hadn't seen it and curious, poll thread in monuments forum.
