A Southern Soul

North Carolina red slaw feeds the Southern soul! I know because I fed mine with a heaping serving of it yesterday. :giggle: Nothing friends, I mean absolutely nothing can taste better on a pork barbecue sandwich. All you need to do is whisk together ketchup, vinegar, sugar, salt and pepper. Pour the dressing over fresh finely chopped cabbage and toss until well mixed. You can store it in an airtight container in the refrigerator until you're ready to serve. Red slaw is also a popular Southern side with pinto beans.

I think today is National Cabbage Day so this seemed like the perfect time to share. Enjoy!

Sounds good, Miz Eleanor.

I'm betting you don't measure, but can you guesstimate ratio of vinegar to ketchup?

Thanks.
