Recommended books about US Colored Troops?

I'm writing a few things about the 1st and 2nd SC Infantry (later the 33rd and 34th U.S. Colored Troops) and could use a book or two to keep me straight as far as skirmishes/battles/raids, timelines, etc. What would you folks recommend? Looking for lots and lots of good scholarship, of course.
