Can you go to the Gettysburg battlefield at night or do you have to be with a ghost hunting group cause I may be going to Gettysburg in April and I really want to investigate the battlefield

Although obviously many people manage. One of our local waitresses has fond memories of hanging around Devil's Den at night with her fellow teenagers.

I suggest you contact any paranormal researchers in the area to find out how you might wangle it--otherwise, I totally agree with Virginia22. Of course, you might get some low-cost housing for the night, too. :) Maybe with a roomie named Bubba.

Im not sure about the rest of the year but during the summer at least the park is open till 10pm then the park police run everyone out till the morning.

I have also read that some try to get on the battlefield REAL EARLY to re-create the scene. That must be a challenge too.

Seems Rebels in the Attic talked about that as I recall.
