See the photo that is my avatar of a post-war older gentleman?
I knew his ID, but I lost it. Can anyone help me? He was a Pvt. in the
16th Pennsylvania Cavalry and he was wounded at the late war battle of
Five Forks in Virginia. He lost a leg in the fighting there and while writhing on
the ground in pain the Rebels went off with his boots. IF I see his name
I think that I will remember it. Can anyone help me?
