Powder flask

Hi everyone, I'm a new member and I hope I'm posting this correctly. I acquired a old brass gun powder flask (at least I think it's what it is and what it's made of). I bought it at a flea market in MD for $8-10. I would like to find out some info about this and so far I've had no luck. I would like to find out the age and maker of it, where it is from and a rough idea of value
The flask has a coin on the front of it adhered by sottering maybe? The coin is dated 1819 and I believe has King George III on the front. The sides of the flask have started coming apart a little at the seam, maybe this was sottered too??
The flask has no proof marks of any kind that I can see. It has a spout with 3 notches on it that I can move up and down, and this screws on and off. Other than the coin that's adhered to it there are no designs on it. By the spout, there looks to be 2 indentations from where something used to be? If anyone can help me learn more about this I'd greatly appreciate it, thank you.
