My parents had this. I was always curious about it and what it was. I did some internet searching and found it could be a cannon projectile but didn't find anything exactly like it. Could anyone give a positive identity of it and when and where it was made. Plus what cannon it would be used in.
The base is 3 5/8 " dia x 3 1/2" tall and weighs 6 pounds 12 oz. It looks like it's cast iron.
