Plus the charm of little kids and their lemonade stands !

In my little village, we had two twin five year old little girls do this same thing for our recent tornado victims.
(with help from their parents of course).

I bought four lemonades from the twins just to watch their excitement.

Plain Lemonade

From "How To Mix Drinks, Or The Bon Vivant's Companion, By Jerry Thomas, 1862

Cut in very thin slices 3 lemons, put them in a basin, add half a pound of sugar, either white or brown; bruise all together, add a gallon of water, and stir well. It is then ready.
I'm going to make this with brown sugar as said above. Sounds good!
