If you like peach jam and plum jam you like this peach plum jam. It is recipe I found and goes back to the e19th century.

Peach Plum Jam

Wash, peel and pit 4 cups peaches 5 cups red plums. Cut fruit into small pieces and place in kettle. Add 8 cups sugar and one thinly sliced lemon, sirrlin well. Boil rapidly, stirring constantly until jellying point is reached, or until thick. Remove from heat. Skim and stir for five minutes. Ladle into hot jars and seal. Yield 12 half pints.

The secret of this jam is the blending of the 2 fruit flavors and the lemon.
