Last year I attended a local estate auction in Gettysburg of a lot of items that
had belonged to a now deceased
local battlefield guide who had worked for the tourists for many
years. I went because I hoped that there would be perhaps some relics up for bid
that he had collected. Well, there were some interesting CW books there, and I got
a couple of those but there were other people after those too. I did see this little
plastic box with a local Gettysburg logo and in it were some found war bullets that
I imagined had been found locally by the guide. I got them and and as you can see
one of the bullets still had the dirt in the cavity. I like them.
