Went to the Western Theater in the Civil War's Perryville symposium last weekend. It was definitely informative. They are having another one next year on October 20, 21 and 22. I highly recommend this to to someone interested in the topic. The only thing it lacked was discussion regarding the historiography of the battle. Great time though. Bring your walking shoes!
