After firing some minnies downrange, I noticed my barrel bands loosened slightly. Is this a common occurance as I assume they probably would loosen with use as you would need to remove these bands to clean your musket. Appreciate any comments on this topic. One more question... can a person get replacement screws for said bands? thank you in advance.
p.s. Oops.......it's a 3 barrel band P53 Enfield. Forgot to mention that!

Check pm.

The Brits "botched it" when they dropped the use of the barrel band springs found on the 2nd Model Enfields....OOPS!!!

The simple solution [and I have seen this applied to original arms] is to drill a small hole through the barrel band, the wood of the forestock and out the other side of the barrel band.

Then simply drift a metal pin that will go through one side of the barrel band, the wood of the forestock and then come out the other side of the barrel band, the end fitting flush with the outside of the barrel band on both sides. Careful...IF you drill your hole too high, you will hit the bottom of the barrel and if you drill too low, you will hit the ramrod channel.

PROBLEM SOLVED.

Of course, when you want to disassemble your Enfield, simply drive out the pin and then remove the barrel bands.
