Ulysses S. Grant's first son, Frederic D. Grant, became a Major General. Frederic's son Ulysses S. Grant III became a Manor General as well. Ulysses S. Grant II, Grants second son, did not serve in the military, but his son Ulysses S. Grant IV served in World War One.

The history channel documentary called Grant and Lee which is fairly recent has the most recent Ulysses S Grant on it. I think he is number five or six. It also has has The most recent Robert E Lee. He is number four.
