This is an old time pie. You can use blackberry or grape jelly. It is easy and delicious. It is quite sweet.

4 eggs
2 cups white sugar
1 cup butter
1 cup sweet cream
1 cup jelly (blackberry or grape)
1 teaspoon vanilla

Stir sugar into yolks of the eggs. Cream butter and add to sugar and egg mixture. Add the cream, then add jelly and last the beaten whites of the eggs and the vanilla. Place in unbaked pie shells and bake in moderate oven. This makes 2 9 inch pies.

I can see why this would appeal to anyone with a sweet tooth.
