I leave for a military history convention in Columbus Georgia tomarow. So tonight I need to pick a route from Michigan to Columbus Georgia. I hope to avoid snow in the mountains.

It snowed a little at my house yesterday, but I am assuming that Georgia is clear of snow in April. I am less sure that parts of Tennessee and Kentucky still getting snow in April.

I am guessing my car can do 8 inches of snow with no problems. If Georgia got much more than 8 inches of snow in April, that some restaurants and stuff might not be open.

It's a little cooler than normal for April 1 but there is no snow anywhere in Ga. April snow in Ga is as rare as finding a Sherman fan.

Except for the northeast mountains , Ga missed snow all of the past winter.

Should be in the 70's/40's in Columbus this time of year. Possibly some rain.
