Even though you're possibly on the wrong forum I'm going to say "Howdy and Welcome from Texas" anyway. I guess it would depend on if you're introducing yourself or if you're asking about those Remingtons.

Welcome aboard from middle Alabama, it is good to have you join us.

Hi, Daniel, and welcome. You've found quite a rabbit hole here, but it's often a pretty interesting place to be. Lots of knowledge here, and I'll bet you can contribute a lot to revolver discussions.

Why could I be on the wrong forum? Should my post be moved to another area of this forum?
Thanks,
Daniel

Hello from Michigan and welcome to the forum. CivilWarTalk has many members interesting in pistols.

Daniel, another welcome from Texas! The forums were a conundrum for me when I first joined as well. Click on all the topic headings you will find at the top of the page, wander around a bit and you will become familiar with it all, including the different forums. Good to have you here!

This forum is fine and dandy if all you're doing is asking about small arms. If you are introducing yourself there is a forum called "Camp of Instuctions for New Recruits".

Hello everyone,

I just joined this site because of a discussion I came across, about Remington revolvers. I am a life member of the Remington Society and have been collecting Remington pistols since 1970. I'm also a history buff and find history to be very fascinating.

Welcome Daniel !

Introduce yourself on any of the forums you wish.

I'm glad to see someone else who loves Remington revolvers. A 36 percussion with lots of original finish and ivory grips would be the best Christmas present ever!!
