I just received the Sharps and Burnside. They look great next to the Smith I acquired earlier. I'll post more photos and I formation in a few days.

Great looking group of old war horses. Thanks for sharing them with us.

I have found with some of my pursuits, there is no end. Maybe a pause now and again.
Yeah I know that "pause" sadly. Helping my daughters with their Student Loans derailed seriously collecting for the time being (smaller low priced items ok). Gotta love them Colleges and Professors. Campus closed for a year and a half due to Virus so all on-line classes, BUT still charging you full price on tuition. Great job Professor, sit at home in your bathrobe drinking coffee and hitting a few computer keys and still getting top dollar. I need my head examined!

are you going to live fore shoot them? just curious? they are beauties.
I've already fired the Smith carbine. I cast some bullets and prepared some cartridges. I was pleased with how it performed, although it did shoot high. The front sight is a bit worn, so that could explain it. I plan on shooting the Sharps and the Burnside. I just need to cast some bullets for these carbines.

I got bullet's for all of them, 30+ yrs ago from DIXIE, then bought the old HAIR CURLER SISSOR MOLDS, that they sold so many years ago and made my own! I have since gradated to LYMAN MOLDS! the BURNSIDE, some times I have heard of a problem with extraction, and use needle nose plyers to extract them? mine I have no problem. BTW, these old scissor, DIXIE molds are bringing $100, on FLEA BAY.
