At the risk of being labeled a narcissist I have changed my avatar to a screenshot of my recent appearance on Blood and Glory: The Civil War in Color. It more accurately links me to the letters of my great-great grandfather Adj. William B. Phillips, Second Pennsylvania Provisional Heavy Artillery. These letters are my great passion and are the reason I am so fascinated by the American Civil War. Please forgive my self-indulgence!

Well done. Personally, I prefer avatars with our actual photos ... as you can probably tell. I think it's more personal and you feel more like you're communicating with a real person.
